During her term, Xintong coordinated a team of 33 editors to issue 13 editions of MASS Magazine with 4,000 annual circulations. She published 23 reports for the magazine and interviewed a number of celebrities. Her job also includes editing, designing, and publishing.

Chair of Media Committee
Xintong led a team of 23 undergraduate students to help organize over five large campus events. Leveraging her communication specialty, she managed the Student Council’s official WeChat account viewed by over 10,000 followers.

Most Creative Broadcast Prize
Xintong used reality show tactic to create an original Radio Show “New Career” targeting freelancers. This show was selected as the only team of undergraduates out of 243 competitors worldwide. As the team leader, Xintong is responsible for creative planning, record directing and audio editing.

Documentary Director
National Excellent Documentary Prize
Xintong produced a 22-minute documentary about cultural heritage and preservation in northwest China with four students. In 2017, this documentary was awarded as Excellent in the National Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program. She experienced in shooting, directing, script writing and post-production.

Interviewing Celebrities
In this picture, Xintong was interviewing Nigemaiti, one of famous ethnic TV hosts in China. Xintong believes that story is the key to stand out in the media world. She loves to listen to a variety of stories from different people.

Enpower Underrepresented Groups
Xintong is keen to equalize civil rights throughout her expertise. In the last four years, she interviewed many minority individuals and reported their stories in different platforms from college publication to national media website.

Half Marathon Finisher
Once set a goal, Xintong will achieve it no matter what efforts she needs to make. After keeping working out for two months, she finished her first half marathon in the plateau area. She loves outdoor activities, such as jogging, hiking, swimming and so forth.

International Volunteer
Make A Difference
Xintong participated in an international volunteer program in Vietnam in 2016. There, she took care of special-needs children at a local hospital for one month. She has joined in over ten volunteer programs with more than 500 hours.

"Either body or soul must be on the road." is Xintong's motto. During her college, she spent almost all of holidays exploring different countries and regions. She loves to make friends with people from various backgrounds and take pictures of each corner she has been.

From South Asia to North America, Xintong is a big fan of Lonely Planet and hostel, liking exploring new cities with like-minded people. She believes that wherever you go becomes a part of you somehow. Her life goal is to travel around the world within her lifespan.
